A new patch tick today in the form of a calling Curlew, flying low NE over St Margaret's Church, Barming at 08:20. I was there to check on the Hawfinches but I've had no luck on my brief morning visits - my last sighting was Saturday 9th when a male and female were seen in the top branches of the large ash during a mid-morning visit.
Yesterday's snow brought in a couple of Lapwings close into the main lab buildings on East Malling Reserach Station, and a pair of Little Owls were seen huddled up on an outbuilding near Kiln Barn Farm, Ditton.

Nice one Mate, I've only had half a dozen records here over the years.
