Tuesday 25th May

The Harris Hawk was seen again this morning from my garden in South Street, Barming.  It's become an almost daily sighting, either gliding above the A26 Tonbridge Road or soaring around The Bull and Matterdale Gardens/North Street area.  An impressive bird!

Hi Adam.
Quite a bird to see regularly from home. It obviously is a falconers escaped bird, have you heard about anyone losing it?
Some years ago there was one on Harty Marshes flying about for quite a while, that one had jessies. I believe the owner eventually go this one back.

Speaking to the old chap who visits Mote Park daily with his binoculars, and he also mentioned (unbidden) a Pereguine Falcon.
If you recall, I calimed to have seen one last year, but my qualifications are minimal.
